The NSW Police force has been embarrassed by a Chaser stunt. For those that don’t know, eleven members of the ABC were arrested for being part of a Chaser stunt where a fake motorcade breached two layers of security at the APEC summit in Sydney.

The security team are patting themselves on the back for not shooting first and asking questions later. They are putting the sole blame of this embarrassment at the feet of the ABC and the Chaser. The truth is the Chaser was doing what they naturally do – take the piss. The fact that eleven people could breach two layers of security and get within 200 meters of the hotel is the real issue.

The Chaser have actually done the Police a service by showing them an enormous security flaw. They are just incredibly lucky that the Chaser thought of it before someone with more explosive intentions did.
